That means the hcg is increasing, which is good. The baby is growing!

I was up at 4 with nausea and couldn't get back to sleep until after 5:00. Boston Pizza pasta or morning sickness?

Although my anticipated arrival date is May 9, 2014, my actual arrival may be unannounced, so please get ready for my visit ahead of time by preparing a suitable guest room with all the amenities, including rattles, diapers, and blankets. I'm pregnant!

Doctor called to confirm this morning!

Yesterday B used the words "baby on the way" and it was so exciting to hear that and be making plans for our future family. 

Being pregnant, day 2

Well, technically 3 weeks and 3 days. But I'VE only know for 2 days. I woke up at 3:45am with nausea and couldn't get back to sleep FOREVER. Morning sickness? I don't know. B said his stomach was upset too, so maybe it was something we ate. Otherwise, I feel fine today, maybe a little crampy. Doctor's appointment tomorrow. 

Is it my imagination?

Me neither. It's only about 7dpo. 

Or, did I see something? Do another test:

Can't be. I don't feel pregnant. But it's there. So faint, but from what I've read, a line is a line. No matter how faint. 

I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant? It's only 8 dpo. Tests don't usually show that early. But, it's there. 

I better get a blood test to be sure before I tell B. But, I can't stop thinking about it. 

Then I see this:

And my eyes well up, the excitement is too much and I decide I have to tell him. I put the test in my pocket and go see him in the backyard. 

Me: I have something for you. 

B: What?

Me: open your hand (I put a tiny seed in his hand)

He looks at it for a few seconds...

B: what is it?

Me: that's how big our baby is (I show him the test that says "Pregnant")

B: ... (eyes open REALLY wide)

Then we go crazy! Hugging, kissing, crying, more hugging, then we sat together for a long time talking about plans and when to tell everyone and whenthebabywillbedueandandand...

EXCITED!

Will call the doctor tomorrow to book an appointment. 

Get all the pregnancy apps. 

Order the "my aunt has a cousin in the oven" shirt for Hud. We're going to use it to tell everyone. 

Start a blog so we can share all this excitement with the family after we tell them.
